Day of Reckoning

Day of Reckoning. - How did the United States of America, the richest nation on earth, whose economy represents 30 percent of the Global Economy, arrive at the precipice of a financial panic and collapse?

The answer lies in the abject failure of both America's financial elite and the political elite of both parties – the same elites now working together to determine how much of our wealth will be needed to bail the nation out of the crisis of their own creation.

Big Government is riding to the rescue – saddlebags full of our tax dollars – to save us from the consequences of the stupidity and folly of Big Government. New York and Washington, the twin cities responsible for the crisis, are now being hailed by the media as the 7th Cavalry, coming to rescue a beleaguered nation.

The State of the American Empire

A friend of mine had a pair of scissors confiscated by the Transportations Security Authority (TSA) before he could board his flight.

Think about this for a moment. What does this tell us about the state of the American Empire?

Aside from being pretty ridiculous, I think it says that these people are on their way out. It tells us how bad of shape the American Empire really is in. If the TSA is so afraid of a person with a pair of scissors, they are really so paranoid that they have lost control of themselves.

More Prisons....

During Robert Gates' testimony for Defense Secretary this week, Senator Sessions of Alabama asked about the need for more prisons in Iraq.

Now isn't that just typical of the federal government to broach the subject of a prison building scheme?

They truly want to turn Iraq into another America...a land of prisons.
